Our Majestic Forest Collection honors the noble oak tree, simple acorn and all the flora and fauna of forest life. Inspired by our family ancestry in the Black Forest of Germany and the natural life of the mountain forests near our California corporate headquarters, our designers have created a stunning line of Acorn and Oak Leaf accented pieces for our Majestic Forest Collection. Crafted with Vagabond House quality from pewter, glass, bronze and other fine materials, these pieces will last a life time. Ancients Celts believed the oak to be the King of Trees. A powerful symbol, oak leaves symbolize strength, endurance, eternity, honor, liberty, hospitality, faith, and virtue. Acorns symbolize birth, renewal and the patience to attain goals over long periods of time. In the fall, the tiny, hardy acorns fall from mighty oaks; a few will survive to become new trees in the spring. When these new tree become fully mature oaks, they produce new acorns to begin the cycle of life again.
