The pheasant centerpiece is stunning but it arrived very bent on one end. Two leaves wer bent up . At first i didnt notice it but then i looked at the picture and you can tell that whoever packaged it really put some force on the piece. The exterior of the box was perfect but the styrofoam was all mangled when i opened it so it deinately was done when it was packed into the box.. So i would suggest that packing people get more training and retraining. No one is born knowing how to handle these things but they are expensive. That said the workmanship on the peie itself is beautiful.

I love the quality of Vagabond House and have collected several pieces over the years. This piece is truly stunning. It came beautifully packed, carefully polished, a joy to open. It is smaller than it appears in the picture, but that worked just fine for us. The glass hurricane is separate from the pewter stand. This is very helpful as the centerpiece can be used in several ways: put a taper in a glass candlestick holder inside of the glass hurricane, put a 3 X 9 pillar candle in the hurricane, or remove the glass hurricane and I used a Wolfard paraffin lamp in the centerpiece. I am so pleased with the purchase and service.
